We have reached over 220 different schools, performing a total of 500+ productions and impacting over 65 810 students across KZN.
Trulife is a non-profit organisation with the vision to TRAIN, RAISE & UNLEASH this generation to live lives full of potential and purpose.
Our vision is to train young people on vital subjects such as: bullying, self- identity, peer pressure, drugs and alcohol, sex, justice and human rights.
Through creative mediums such as dance, drama, media and song our team of highly skilled and trained performers bring fresh
on-stage messages that come alongside the South African School LO syllabus.
We challenge young people to live lives bigger than themselves, to fight the status quo and to be a voice to the voiceless.
About The Internship
The Trulife Internship is an opportunity for young guys and girls between the ages of 17 and 23 to enter the world of Performing Arts.
You will have the opportunity be trained in various skills such as:
- Dance ( Hip Hop and Contemporary)
- Media ( Videography and Graphic Design)
- On stage performance ( Drama and Song)
- Sound Engineering and Lighting
With a reach of more than 20 000 students every year, the Interns get an opportunity to impact a generation with pertinent messages whilst using their God given gifts.
Trulife Interns, once trained and ready, will get to perform on stage and operate the productions' media.
Workshops are an opportunity to connect with young people in our city on a one-on-one basis.
Building relationships and mentoring students on these vital topics.
Creative Streams are classes that you attend on a Tuesday afternoon which allow you the opportunity to grow in performance art and creativity.
There are three streams you can choose from; dance, drama and media.
On Tuesdays the whole Trulife team attends Harvest Bible College. This is a time set aside for us to learn, grow, be challenged and mature spiritually.
It is such a refreshing time and a favourite part of every Trulife team member's week.
This is time set aside to connect and communicate as a team.

This video portrays the heart behind the Internship. The "Why" behind what we do.
We want to motivate you to think deeper than just the ordinary. To envision a new culture, a different generation and a better South Africa.
If you are curious to see what a 'normal week' looks like for our interns, then this video will give you a glimpse.
We have documented a couple of days in the life of one of our previous interns so you will see what it's like to go to productions, be involved in workshops, team meetings, hang outs and all the in-betweens.
These are a couple of the stories from past Interns. Some foreigners as well as some local young people who have been involved.
These stories will tell you what motivated them to get involved; what they got out of the year, how they have grown personally and some of their favourite moments.
